Attorney Carlos E. Moore was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi and reared in Moss Point, Mississippi. After graduating from Moss Point High School as Salutatorian, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 1999 from the University of South Alabama and his Juris Doctorate from The Florida State University College of Law in 2002.
Licensed to practice in the state and federal courts in Mississippi and Tennessee with offices in Grenada, Jackson, and Memphis, Attorney Moore is very active in several bar associations. He is a member of the Mississippi Bar, Tennessee Bar, National Bar Association, American Bar Association, Magnolia Bar Association, and Grenada County Bar Association. He is also a member of the board of governors of the Mississippi Association for Justice and President of the National Law Group.
Married to the former Natalie Herrington of Grenada, Attorney Moore currently serves as General Counsel of Abundant Life Assembly. He is also the Founding Chairman of the Board of the Grenada Unit of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Delta, Inc. as well as the current President of the 100 Black Men of Grenada, Inc. Moore is also active in the Grenada County Chamber of Commerce and is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Grenada. Attorney Moore was named the Outstanding Young Lawyer of Mississippi in 2008 by The Mississippi Bar.
While maintaining a general law practice since 2006, Attorney Moore focuses on personal injury, worker’s compensation, family law, and criminal defense. He recently secured a $12,000,000 verdict for a deserving client who was left a paraplegic after inadvertently being shot in a night club by the club’s security guard. Attorney Moore is also a proud and active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
