Mr. McKenna has practiced law since 1996. His practices in the areas of serious personal injury claims, motor cycle accidents, commercial litigation, off shore injuries, real estate, medical malpractice claims, civil rights and employment discrimination. Mr. McKenna’s expertise also includes insurance coverage disputes and analysis, and insurance bad faith cases. Mr. McKenna currently offers real estate closing and title services through Steadfast Title Insurance Company, LLC.

Mr. McKenna initially started his career as an associate attorney with Christovich & Kearney, LLP, practicing general liability and casualty insurance defense, medical malpractice defense and aviation litigation. Mr. McKenna is also former Assistant City Attorney for the City of New Orleans, focusing on Real Estate, Transportation, and Constitutional issues.

Throughout his 14 years of practicing law, Mr. McKenna has represented hundreds on clients and has obtained millions of dollars in judgments and settlements. He has participated in matters throughout the country. Mr. McKenna is currently licensed to practice in State and Federal Courts in Louisiana.

In addition to a flourishing legal practice, Mr. McKenna is the current President of the Greater New Orleans Louis A. Martinet Legal Society, Inc., and is on the Board of Directors of the Martinet Society of Louisiana, Inc., Southeast Louisiana Legal Services and Odyssey House Louisiana and the A.P. Tureaud Legacy Foundation. His is also an active member of the Federal Bar Association, the National Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, participating in numerous special committees such as the Continuing Legal Education Committee, the Nominating Committee and the Committee to Review Changes to the Bar Examination. He is also a member of the 2010 National Bar Association Convention Planning Committee.
